On July 30 – August 1, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev is paying a state visit to Kyrgyzstan at the invitation of President Sadyr Japarov.
The top-level talks are expected to address trade, industrial cooperation, transport connectivity, and cultural and humanitarian exchanges. A package of bilateral documents is expected to be signed at the conclusion of the summit.
As part of the visit, Uzbekistan's President will also take part in the informal Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia and Azerbaijan in Cholpon-Ata.
