The "Kovun Sayli-2026" melon festival in Khiva has entered the Guinness World Records as the event with the world's largest melon variety tasting
The festival showcased 250 melon varieties and more than 200 types of melon-based products. Participants sampled 259 varieties — the figure that secured the record.
Over three days, the event drew more than one million visitors, including over 30,000 international tourists.
