The two sides discussed prospects for cooperation between think tanks of Uzbekistan and Afghanistan.

During the meeting, Wahid Shahin invited Javlon Vakhabov to visit Afghanistan and expressed his interest in establishing open and constructive collaboration with Uzbek partners to develop balanced approaches to sustainable development and regional security.

Both sides noted that closer cooperation between think tanks serves the interests of the entire region by strengthening trust and mutual understanding between the countries of Central Asia and Afghanistan.
