During the discussions, S. Vesterbye emphasized the significance of the Forum as a permanent platform for the exchange of opinions, knowledge, and advanced analytical research. He highlighted that strengthening institutional ties between think tanks facilitates a deeper understanding of regional dynamics and enables the development of joint policy recommendations on pressing issues.

The parties underscored the need to expand analytical dialogue, enhance research coordination, and implement new mechanisms for collaboration. In this context, an agreement was reached to undertake joint research projects, organize forums, seminars, and roundtables covering a broad range of topics, including interregional cooperation, sustainable development, economic integration, security, and other priority areas.

The meeting culminated in the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between IICA and ENC, establishing a solid foundation for long-term partnership and further strengthening of expert engagement. The document reflects both organizations’ commitment to fostering a more resilient and effective model of cooperation aimed at developing practical initiatives and supporting dialogue between the European Union and Central Asia.

Both sides expressed their readiness to continue expert-level engagement and implement joint initiatives that will contribute to deepening cooperation between the regions. The upcoming events planned within the framework of the signed agreement will help expand the scope of collaboration and reinforce the role of expert networks in shaping strategic approaches to addressing key regional challenges.
