The event is jointly organized by IICA, ODI Global and the British Embassy in Uzbekistan.

The Forum will bring together representatives of governmental and independent think tanks, the diplomatic corps, international organizations, as well as business and academic communities from Central Asia, Azerbaijan and the United Kingdom.

The programme will feature four thematic sessions focusing on the development of Eurasian transport connectivity, cooperation on critical minerals, strengthening investor confidence, as well as expanding cooperation in education, skills and safe labour mobility.

The Forum represents a practical follow-up to the first Central Asia–UK Foreign Ministers’ Meeting, held in London in February this year. The new expert platform is intended to complement the intergovernmental dialogue with concrete initiatives and foster sustainable ties between think tanks in the region and the United Kingdom.
