The peoples of Uzbekistan and Türkiye share centuries of common history and a rich cultural heritage. Türkiye was among the first countries to recognise Uzbekistan’s independence, and over the decades our relations have grown into a comprehensive strategic partnership. This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Treaty of Eternal Friendship and Cooperation, with cooperation spanning trade, investment, industry, education and culture.

Fittingly, this year’s celebration coincides with the 13th Summit of the Organization of Turkic States in Ankara, where Türkiye assumes the chairmanship, opening new opportunities for joint projects in trade, transport, energy and digital cooperation.
