The parties discussed a wide range of issues related to strengthening cooperation among the Central Asian states, including the intensification of political dialogue, the development of economic opportunities, and the improvement of human capacity.
Ms. Zurovac-Kuzman noted that the OSCE Centre attaches particular importance to strengthening partnerships with the countries of the region, consistently developing cooperation in three key areas, including the political and diplomatic sphere, the economy and environment, and the humanitarian field.
Ms. Zurovac-Kuzman emphasized the importance of promoting peaceful diplomacy and maintaining a constructive dialogue among the Central Asian states in the context of ensuring security and sustainable development. She also noted the opportunities for enhancing economic cooperation and deepening integration processes in the region within the framework of the World Trade Organization.
In this regard, IICA experts pointed out the importance of developing partnerships between strategic research institutions and analytical structures of the region’s countries, which contributes to a deeper understanding of regional processes and the development of coordinated approaches to addressing common challenges.
