The event was organized by the Center for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan in cooperation with the regional office of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation.
The forum brought together heads of think tanks of Central Asian countries, as well as officials and representatives of the diplomatic corps in Dushanbe.

During the discussions, participants considered key issues of regional security, including intra- and transregional challenges and opportunities, socio-economic and transport-transit aspects of resilience, as well as strategic prospects for the development of Central Asia in the context of geopolitical changes.
Speaking at the forum, IICA Deputy Director Sh. Fayziev outlined current trends in regional cooperation in Central Asia. It was noted that the region is undergoing a period of positive change and increasing interconnectedness, while trust-based dialogue between leaders and joint practical efforts of the countries are shaping a “New Central Asia.”

During the discussions, experts also addressed prospects for strengthening the regional security architecture of Central Asia, focusing on aligning approaches to contemporary challenges and threats, enhancing intra-regional interaction, and expanding cooperation in trade, transport and logistics, and humanitarian areas.

Following the forum, participants emphasized the need to deepen expert dialogue and develop practical tools of cooperation aimed at enhancing regional resilience and effectively realizing its strategic potential.
