The parties exchanged views on the prospects for deepening cooperation between IICA and SAM, focusing on expanding joint research activities, developing expert contacts, preparing analytical materials, and organizing joint events and initiatives on topical issues on the regional and international agenda.
Vakhabov highlighted that the partnership between IICA and SAM is anchored by the strong ties between Uzbekistan and Turkey, driven by an increasing demand for systematic analytical cooperation. According to him, this partnership can become an important tool for supporting strategic dialogue between the two countries, offering specific ideas, analytical assessments, and practical recommendations on issues of Central Asia, the Turkic world, regional connectivity, security, and the broader Eurasian agenda.

In turn, R. Erdag noted that SAM views cooperation with IICA as an opportunity to deepen analytical understanding of processes in Central Asia and strengthen expert interaction between Turkey and the region. Throughout these discussions, both sides emphasized the importance of exchanging knowledge and developing joint approaches to current international issues of mutual interest.

At the end of the meeting, the IICA and SAM signed a Cooperation Agreement providing for the creation of a practical basis for regular cooperation between the two centers, including joint research, expert consultations, publication exchange, mutual participation in events, academic interaction, and direct contacts between researchers.
SAM - is one of Turkey's key foreign policy analytical centers, founded in 1994 under the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and plays a crucial role in expert support for the country's foreign policy, research preparation, development of international expert-research dialogue and discussion of key issues on the regional and global agenda.
