The sides exchanged views on the current state and future development of Uzbekistan–Germany relations, as well as cooperation within the Central Asia–Germany and Central Asia–EU formats.
Javlon Vakhabov highlighted the steady growth of Uzbekistan–Germany ties and the expanding scope of bilateral and multilateral cooperation across political, economic, transport, and connectivity areas.
Particular attention was given to joint industrial projects, investment cooperation, and transport linkages.
In turn Johannes Volkmann noted that Central Asia is becoming an increasingly important partner for Germany and the European Union, creating favorable conditions for advancing joint initiatives across a broad range of sectors.
In this context, the sides discussed cooperation in high value-added manufacturing, including industrial partnerships, workforce development, and greater involvement of German companies in projects in Uzbekistan.
Following the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their interest in further expanding practical cooperation and advancing joint initiatives aimed at strengthening the Uzbekistan–Germany partnership.
