The President of Uzbekistan put forward a number of key initiatives aimed at strengthening cooperation within the SCO.

Key initiatives:

✅ Uzbekistan firmly supports the resumption of dialogue and de-escalation in the Middle East;
 
✅ the vast human, natural, industrial and intellectual resources of the SCO countries should be harnessed primarily to improve the well-being of our peoples;
 
✅ with a view to creating an interconnected and sustainable space, it was proposed to develop a conceptual vision entitled “SCO–2040: A Space of Common Development”;
 
✅ it was initiated to develop an SCO Industrial Cooperation Map bringing together special economic zones, production processes, markets and logistics;
 
✅ it was proposed to move from agreeing on general principles to the practical launch of the SCO Development Bank;
 
✅ the initiative to establish a World Organization for Cooperation in Artificial Intelligence was supported;
 
✅ it was initiated to adopt a decision on the establishment of an Open Multilingual Data Corpus of the SCO;
 
✅ it was proposed to hold an SCO Forum on Artificial Intelligence and New Digital Solutions in Tashkent next year;
 
✅ the development of an SCO Program for Technological Cooperation in Water and Energy Efficiency through 2035 was initiated;
 
✅ with a view to coordinating the development of logistics infrastructure and ensuring seamless integration of national transport systems, it was proposed to establish a Council for the Integration of Railway Networks of SCO Member States;
 
✅ the resumption of regular SCO dialogue with Afghanistan was initiated to discuss a broad range of issues related to security and economic cooperation;
 
✅ in support of further strengthening the bonds of friendship among our peoples, it was proposed to prepare a Program of Cooperation on the Preservation and Promotion of Traditional Arts and Intangible Cultural Heritage for 2028–2030.
