On October 30, 2026, the International Institute for Central Asia (IICA) will host a dialogue among diplomats and policy experts titled “Central Asia and Azerbaijan: A New Political Environment Built on Trust and Cooperation.”

The event will focus on the outcomes of the informal meeting of Central Asian and Azerbaijani leaders held in Cholpon-Ata on July 31 and the Eighth Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia and Azerbaijan, held in Avaza on October 8.

Discussions will examine the key agreements reached and initiatives put forward at the two meetings, with particular attention to their practical implementation. Topics will include strengthening political dialogue, expanding trade and investment ties, improving transport connectivity, and developing new avenues for regional cooperation.

The event will bring together heads of diplomatic missions accredited to Uzbekistan, representatives of government ministries and agencies, leading think tanks, policy experts, and members of the media.
