IICA Deepens Cooperation with the Institute for Strategic Studies of Mongolia

As part of his visit to Ulaanbaatar, Javlon Vakhabov, Director of the International Institute for Central Asia (IICA), met with Dr. Undral Gombodorj, Director of the Institute for Strategic Studies under the National Security Council of Mongolia. The meeting represented a logical continuation of previous dialogue between the two institutions and marked a new stage in developing expert partnerships between Uzbekistan and Mongolia.

On June 13, 2025, the International Institute for Central Asia (IICA) hosted an international academic conference exploring the literary and heritage of Alisher Navoi and Abdurahman Jami and its profound influence on fostering dialogue, trust, and cultural unity in the region. The event was organized by IICA in partnership with the International Public Foundation named after Alisher Navoi and the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Uzbekistan.

The International Conference on Glaciers Preservation convened in Dushanbe, bringing together approximately 700 delegates from 46 countries and 40 international organizations.
