Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan to Become Founding Members of the Peace Council
At the invitation of U.S. President Donald Trump, the Presidents of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, have expressed their willingness to join the newly established Peace Council as founding member states.
The Peace Council is envisioned as a new international platform aimed at promoting long-term peace, stability, and security.
The initiative is based on a peace plan for resolving the conflict in Gaza and is supported by a United Nations Security Council resolution.
